Our STory

The Team

It began with an opportunity for education and entrepreneurialism: ENTRE 472, an undergraduate course where students created companies in a semester. Our initial team came together out of a mutual love for natural beauty and a goal to impact women positively.

The Dream

After meeting over multiple cups of tea and validating our idea, we landed upon the tea bath as our first product line. However, our vision goes far beyond the bath. We’ve always believed in the power of a great story. We believe every woman has a unique story to tell and we aim to help her find a voice in the community through our products and philosophy.

The Opportunity

We partner with local nonprofits focused on women empowerment to develop mutually beneficial partnerships. Our growth as a company happens simultaneously with our impact on women in need. We handcraft our tea baths alongside women who are survivors of sex trafficking in the United States.

The Reality

Two years and counting, we have developed from learners to leaders who keep learning. The reality that women globally and locally are unable to access resources to better their lives is staggering. Yet, we know everyone can do something to empower someone else. This is why we exist: to tell stories of empowerment with our own lives and help you tell your's.

Our Model

Bathing Beauteas is a reinvented tea bath experience that combines historical bathing traditions and today’s natural ingredients to empower the modern woman.

We handcraft each tea bath in community with other women. We see our creation process as another opportunity to empower and address local needs.

Each product is crafted with intention, fresh ingredients, and our innovative recipe. We take great pride in testing our product until it is of the utmost quality for you. Our first product line took over 47 trials to perfect.

We persistently design new products that pay homage to inspiring female figures who have gone before us and honor modern day women in the process.

We believe in hearing, sharing, and creating phenomenal stories. We celebrate the role women have played in history (follow our hashtag #herstorymadehistory). In designing each tea bath blend, we had historical female figures at the forefront of our design philosophy.

Our Impact

Bathing Beauteas exists to empower the modern woman. We design our products to provide restoration from beginning to end. Our tea bath creates a relaxing experience for you during and even after the bath with its lingering fragrance and skin-softening effects. In the same way, we craft our product with this impactful intention in mind.

In 2016, we innovated our production process to empower vulnerable women in our local sphere. We work with local nonprofits who help sex trafficking survivors. The Bathing Beauteas team handcrafts each tea bath together with women in holistic restoration programs.
